Always moving forward
Research in hand therapy is crucial for advancing the field and providing optimal care to patients suffering from hand, wrist, and elbow conditions. It plays a pivotal role in identifying the most effective treatment approaches, developing innovative therapies, and refining existing techniques. At HHRC we are committed to integrating the best available research with our clinical expertise and a patient centred approach to optimise the outcomes we achieve for our clients with hand injuries and conditions.
In 2023 Hunter Hand Rehab combined these 2 concepts and along with Hunter Hand Surgery have foundered the Newcastle Hand Institute to facilitate research projects in hand therapy and surgery.
We are in the early stages of our research journey but if you would like to read about the projects we are working on or if you would like to make a charitable donation click here.
